And most of that time is taken up by the initial request being in the Blocked state for 250 ms, which is just the speed test tool waiting for stuff.\n\nAnd that’s for 1.7 MB of content, not 49 kB.\n\nfpt.pingdom.com\n\n### Pingdom Tools\n\nFull Page Test Analysis\n\nWhen you run the same test from Brazil, it’s a lot slower of course (Pingdom reports almost 2.5 seconds), but the test from London proves that that’s caused exclusively by the distance, not the hosting itself being slow.\n\nfpt.pingdom.com\n\n### Pingdom Tools\n\nFull Page Test Analysis\n\nAlso, for Google to reject your website (for what exactly?), it must be EXTREMELY slow. Much slower than any of these tests show.",
