External connection blocked? 3306

As far as I know, external MySQL connections on port 3306 should be allowed, but I must admit that it’s been a while since I’ve verified that. I can check it for you, but it might take a while for me to get around to that. In the mean time, can you double check that there is no IP filter on the target database that may be blocking access? And if there is an IP filter, then please note that your account’s Website IP is NOT actually the IP address that’s used for outbound connections from your website.
