FTP transfers and CPU usage

Hey, I am using the free hosting plan, and I want to create a backup of my htdocs folder using FileZilla. The folder is quite big to download, and since Im using the free hosting plan, I want to know if downloading files using a FTP manager like FileZilla will use any of my free site resources, like CPU usage? I just dont want my domain to get suspended thats why Im asking. Thanks
