  "textContent": "KARACHI: Justice Munib Akhtar, the senior puisne judge of the Supreme Court (SC), took oath as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) here at SC Karachi Registry on Monday.\n\nJustice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui of the SC administered the oath to Justice Akhtar in a simple and dignified ceremony.\n\nAccording to a statement issued by the SC, incumbent CJP Justice Yahya Afridi is currently out of the country.
