  "textContent": "Multiple casualties are feared after an explosion in an Imambargah in Islamabad.\n\nThe explosion was reported at Tarlai Imambargah, situated in the Shehzad Town area of the federal capital.\n\nPolice and rescue services have reached the site and started rescue operations.\n\nAn emergency has been imposed at the federal capital’s Polyclinic, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), and CDA Hospital.\n\nOn the directives of the executive director (ED) Pims, an emergency has been enforced at the hospital, a spokesperson confirmed to _Dawn_.\n\nThe main emergency, orthopaedic, burn centre, and neurology departments have been activated, he added.\n\nThe injured are being shifted to Pims and Polyclinic Hospital.\n\nToday’s incident comes less than three months after a suicide blast outside a district and sessions court building in Islamabad’s G-11 area on November 11, 2025.
