"Exhuma director Jang Jaehyun "Yoo Ah-in is NOT appearing in my new work, I want to keep things quiet"

Director Jang Jaehyun of the film 'Exhuma' has denied rumors that actor Yoo Ah-in will appear in his upcoming project.

In a phone call with OSEN on the morning of the 17th, Director Jang stated, "It is true that I am preparing a new project tentatively titled 'Vampir'*. However, the claim that actor Yoo Ah-in is starring in it is completely untrue."

He explained, "To begin with, the screenplay hasn't even been written yet. I have never formally offered the role to the actor. It is true that I recently asked how he was doing and we discussed future schedules, but it seems a completely different story has circulated. He also mentioned that he wants to spend the next year or so quietly, without any work commitments."

Regarding the new project Vampire, Director Jang added, "The screenplay hasn't been completed or even fully drafted; only a synopsis exists at this stage. A production company hasn't been selected yet, and discussions are ongoing. I am cautious because I don't know how things might change. Personally, I am looking at a timeline that extends into the year after next."
