[teens stories] NOT BEING ABLE TO BE PRETTY IN MY 20S FEELS LIKE I WASTED THEM

Even if you're not the prettiest person wherever you go,

it seems like you still need to have looks that won't make you look out of place in any group.

Even from an outsider's perspective, the way pretty women and not-so-pretty women are treated is so different.

If you compare it to men, where it's 20% attention and 80% indifference,

for women, it's more like 70% attention and 30% indifference.

It seems like you have to be in the top 70% to get hit on by guys around you.

Whether you're a man or a woman, your prime years are your 20s, right?

Only a few men get to enjoy that golden period in their 20s, but most women do.

And those who don't make it into that majority will never know what it feels like, they'll just watch from the sidelines.

so I imagine they must be pretty unhappy.

Honestly, you know that all that "being pretty is exhausting" stuff is just sour grapes, right?

People say that if you don't get into Seoul National University by the time you're 20, it's all for nothing. Why is that?

You're too obsessed with your lookism

I read through all the comments and replies, and it turns out 80% of them are just one person writing the post, commenting on it, and replying to their own comments to stir up trouble ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Does that mean it's okay for men to be f*cking ugly? Why is it only like that for women? Are only women supposed to be pretty and take care of themselves?

It's true that being pretty is better than being ugly. What's with the comments?

Men need to enlist in their 20s. What "golden period"?
