  "textContent": "\n\n\nI think we need to have a serious conversation about the normalized use of Live AR in K-pop.\n\n\n\n\nI completely understand that K-pop choreography has become incredibly intense. I don't expect idols to sound perfect while doing aerobics. However, the deception needs to stop.\n\n\n\n\nHere is my hierarchy of what should be acceptable:\n\n\n\n\n1.MR (Raw Live): The gold standard. Just the instrumental and background harmonies. Zero lead vocals on the track. If the idol stops singing, the audio cuts out.\n\n\n\n\n2. Live MR (Backing Track Support): If you can't do full raw MR, then at least do this. The track includes some vocals for support, but your mic is ON and louder than the track. It’s a fair compromise for hard choreography, as long as we can actually hear your real voice overpowering the recording.\n\n\n\n\n3.Standard AR (Obvious Lip Sync): If you are sick, exhausted, or the schedule is too crazy to sing at all then just play the AR audio. Be honest about it.\n\n\n\n\nThe Real Problem:\n\nThe problem is Live AR. This is when companies use pre-recorded tracks with fake breathing, clothing rustles, and intentional pitch corrections to trick fans into thinking it's live when the mic is effectively off.\n\n\n\n\nMy point is simple:\n\nIf you can't handle raw MR, use Live MR. If you can't even do Live MR, just lip-sync openly with the studio version.
