"textContent": "In 2013, he translated Warm Bodies. It was his second film translation project. Through this work, Hwang Seok-hee expanded his (translation) stage to the big screen.\n\nIn 2016, he took on Deadpool. This was the work that left a strong impression of “translator” Hwang Seok-hee on audiences. It was also when the nickname “transcendent translation” was coined.\n\nIn 2014, there was a “s** crime.” He committed two or more acts of s****l violence against a student attending his lecture. The victim at the time was a woman in her 20s.\n\nHwang Seok-hee is one of the most famous translators in Korea. He has translated over 600 works, including Deadpool, Spider-Man, and Bohemian Rhapsody. The recently released Project Hail Mary also passed through his hands.\n\nLast year, he published an essay collection titled Words That Misinterpret. He has been active as a mentor healing the wounds caused by everyday language. Hence the nickname “the kind translator.”\n\nHowever, Hwang Seok-hee left wounds on individuals referred to as A, B, C, D, and E in the past. In 2005, he mo**sted and a***lted women passing by on the street, and in 2014, he committed s****l violence against a student.\n\nDispatch tracked three past crimes committed by Hwang Seok-hee. He was indicted twice on charges such as causing injury through indecent a****lt and quasi-r**e, and was released both times with suspended sentences.\n\n…\n\nHwang Seok-hee has expanded his activities to TV, radio, YouTube, and lecture halls. His statements carry social influence. However, there has still been no reflection or explanation regarding his past.\n\nMeanwhile, in a phone call with Dispatch on the 30th, Hwang Seok-hee said, “I don’t have anything to say right now,” adding, “If I have something to say, I will organize my thoughts and respond.”\n\nsource: https://m.entertain.naver.com/home/article/433/0000126217\n\noriginal post: here\n\n1. Wow I'm so shocked by this person\n\n6. Even I know this name. He's quite popular\n\n7.\n\n8. ????????????? That's freaking insane\n\n9. I wonder how he would react if his own daughter were subjected to something like that, especially considering that even those who are victims of s** crimes are, after all, someone's precious children\n\n10.
