the people who guide us
This is a note of appreciation for all the people who've helped us get closer to ourselves. Whether we've met them or not, people can have profound impacts on us โ shaping us in ways we couldn't on our own.
When you think about the people who've inspired you or made you feel safe, who comes to mind? Who are the people who have, knowingly or not, helped you discover yourself?
I've been thinking about this a lot lately. We are all part of an interconnected web; interactions with one affects another, affects another, and so on. We're all reflections of ourselves, yes, but also those who have shaped us along the way.
Sometimes, those interactions are destructive. But, hopefully more often than not, the interactions are fulfilling, rewarding, life-affirming. I hope you meet or witness people who can help show you the light, who show you that you are enough just as you are. (And, if you haven't yet, they're out there and on their way to you!)
I've been fortunate enough to encounter so many wonderful people who've changed me for the better and helped me feel more comfortable in my skin.
People who feel like breathing in fresh air. Who never cease to remind me of how magnificent, expansive, devastating, and funny the world is.
And I hope we can each be that for the people in our lives, too.
