Lemmy and VPN - no posting allowed

submitted by patruelis to privacy 117 points | 46 comments Hi all, I have VPN turned on on my phone all the time. To be able to post anything, including to comment, I need to turn off the VPN. To be honest, I’m quite conflicted by this. Any reason why this is or what to do about it besides turning off the VPN? I’m using Voyager as a client. Edit: it seems like the instance is the issue. Moving here from Reddit it’s not as simple as j would have thought. Also, VPNs are essential, no VPN is no go for me. Case closed.
