Your idea is very interesting, especially for schools where students use Chromebooks. A browser-based Minetest client using WebGL could remove the need for local installations and make access much easier for students and teachers. Of course, it would be a challenging project because of rendering, networking, performance, and compatibility, but I don't think it's impossible if a dedicated team of experienced developers worked on it. Even a lightweight version without advanced graphics could still provide a great learning experience. Making Minetest more accessible through the browser would likely benefit education, community servers, and new players. Discussions like this also remind us how important it is to optimize game performance across different platforms, whether it's browser games, voxel games, or titles like https://thesspikegame.com/, where accessibility and smooth gameplay are equally valuable.
