General Discussion • just a curiousity what happens if you place a node in an unloaded chunk

i don't code but i was wondering what would happen if there was a mod that gave mobs the ability to execute .mts (for the visuals mostly it would be cool to watch villagers building more houses) and a mob tried to place a node on an offloaded chunk when you where exactly the right distance away?
