Feature Discussion • steamdeck splitscreen?

we would love to get into luanti; but it seems splitscreen isn't available on the steamdeck. is this something planned?

if not, as I understand it, minecraft splitscreen is a launcher that just launches two instances of the game and lets the players play with controllers, could it possibly be tweaked to work for luanti instead?
