An iron pick axe doesn't do the job but I have no clue what might be able to mine it. Also, there's others I've seen in the public mines that are not mine-able with an iron pick. This is just causing frustration and wanting to server hop to someplace else.\n\nI've found the mining here to be very easy...aside from the spiders (Ugh!). Can't say that I used a steel pick more than a short time as I soon had diamond galore and the awards gave me even more advanced picks. But for sure steel is like stone picks here because there's a huge list of materials (~30!). So steel here is almost useless being close to the bottom of the list instead of in the middle as in default. At spawn there is a poster that actually ranks all the ores as tool ingredients.
