"textContent": "Hi, in Windows 11, is there a luanti.exe argument to specify what the _MINETEST_USER_PATH_ environment variable specifies?\nI want to install and use Luanti as a portable application, so I have downloaded the Windows .64bit .exe file and unzipped it in order to have _RUN_IN_PLACE=0_ (the Portable .zip file has _RUN_IN_PLACE=1_)\nCurrently, I am using the environment variable _MINETEST_USER_PATH_ to specify the Luanti data folder. This works fine.\n\nBut as I want to use it as a portable application, I would prefer to avoid relying on a Windows environment variable and use an argument to replace MINETEST_USER_PATH. I have not found one in the luanti doc. I have tried using _--run-dir_ argument, but it does not work unfortunately.\n\n**How do you install Luanti as a portable app cleanly, ie, with the software files, the config and the data properly separated?** Regards\n\nStatistics: Posted by cris — Sun Mar 08, 2026 09:39\n\n* * *",
