May I ask about bees? I don't think there is a bees thread.

Why is the formspec in extractor defined in metadata and built by on_construct, but the formspec in wild hive and artificial hive is defined by a function and run with on_righclick, then core.show.formspec?

I'm just trying to understand the difference / reasons to use one over the other, because your code seems great for learning from.

Is it to do with the relative complexity of node inventories?
