Here is a small mod created to show how easy it can be to create your own lucky blocks, it adds a Good, Bad and Ugly block with respective drops and effects. Craft the bad block first with a chest surrounded by gold lumps/ore and upgrade each one by surrounding it with more gold to get the bad and eventually good blocks.
