Mod Releases • Re: Update:
- Fixed mcl_mangrove schematic path.
Hmm...I'm starting to think that 2 individual Lucky Blocks are not enough to handle the amount of stuff that's present. I think we might need additional Lucky Blocks. Like, perhaps 5 or 6, in a tier fashion. The recipe getting more expensive as you go up, and much rarer (And more practical) items being on higher tiers of Lucky Blocks. If course, it will break Lucky Block Ore mods due to the sudden change, and the items and effects that do nothing in MineClonia might have to be removed outright (So no Slender or Pint-sized character effect), though I think the Ocarina might be repurposed as a Random Teleport item, which would remove the need for a Random Teleport mod.
So, what do I propose for the updated Lucky Blocks? Well: Basic Lucky Block (Crafted with Stone/Cobblestone around a Chest, Looks very similar to the ? Block from Super Mario Bros): Gives basic items, low-end rewards, with practically no negative effects, probably a random Yeet on occasion, but nothing dangerous. Standard Lucky Block (Crafted with Gold Ingots/Bars around a Chest, Looks like the usual Lucky Block): Gives moderately rare or useful items, with some negative effects possible, yet still uncommon. Rare Lucky Block (Crafted with Iron Ingots/Bars around a Chest, Silver-colored Lucky Block, needs a pickaxe to break): Gives rare or very useful items, with a modest probability of a negative effect that's potentially dangerous. Exotic Lucky Block (Crafted with Mese Crystals (MineTest) or Redstone Dust (MineClonia) around a Chest, Has a vivid color pattern and is moderately bright and requires a strong pickaxe to break): Gives very rare, potentially game-altering, items with a high possibility of a dangerous negative effect. Crazy Lucky Block (Crafted with Diamonds around a Chest, a very bright Lucky Block that is pretty wacky looking and requires a very strong pickaxe to break): Gives game-breaking items, but the possibility of dangerous negative effects is very high as a result. Creative Lucky Block (Uncraftable, A very bright, rainbow-colored Lucky Block, can be mined without a pickaxe): Grants the same rewards as a Crazy Lucky Block, without the negative effects, but can also drop other Lucky Blocks as well.
Could that work to help sort out the rewards a bit better?
