High fuel prices have DC-area boaters rethinking summer trips

If you think it’s expensive to fill up your car, try fueling up a boat. Fuel prices are typically higher at marinas because of their compressed seadon and higher expenses, but with gas a dollar a gallon higher than last year, at well over $6, boaters are rethinking outings.
