Residents fear Frederick County will be the new ‘data center alley’

Frederick has more planned hyperscale data centers than any other county in Maryland, scheduled to come online in as little as three years, prompting pushback amid local concerns that the area will soon resemble “data center alley” in Northern Virginia.
