Despite reservations on both sides, advocates hope to pass youth charging bill

Republicans say a bill limiting the number of offenses for which youth are automatically charged as adults goes too far, while some Democrats say it doesn't go far enough. But supporters are pushing for approval, saying the compromise bill is better than nothing.
