Supreme Court takes up climate case testing local lawsuits against oil companies

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear a Colorado case that asks whether oil companies can be sued in state court, a case the could determine the fate of several dozen climate lawsuits brought by state and local governments, including two in Maryland.
