  "textContent": "Three people were hospitalized after a lightning‑related incident at a vacant home in Frederick County, Virginia.\n\nThe incident was reported around 5 p.m. on April 1 at a property on Bookers Crest Drive in Stephens City.\n\nAccording to a Stephens City Fire and Rescue incident report, crews arrived to find one on the ground and another on the roof after what responders described as a lightning‑related event.\n\n\"Operate Tower 11 to rescue a patient from the rooftop after being hit by lightning,\" the report stated.\n\nTwo workers were taken to hospitals, one to Winchester Medical Center and another to MedStar in Washington, D.C. A third worker later requested treatment and was also transported, according to the report.\n\nFire crews checked two homes and the surrounding area with a thermal imaging camera to ensure no fire had started.\n\nThe conditions of the workers were not immediately available, and the investigation is ongoing.",
