Man reportedly shot by police officer in Montgomery County

A Montgomery County police officer was involved in a shooting Tuesday afternoon, officials say.

Police say the incident occurred in the 18400 block of Lost Knife Circle at approximately 4:51 p.m.

At this time, police say a man was shot by a Montgomery County police officer.

It's not clear why police were initially called to the scene, or what led up to the shooting.

The man who was shot is said to be in stable condition, but no additional information about him has been released at this time.
