"textContent": "Washington County Auditor Kristine Adams-Wannberg and District Attorney Kevin Barton are headed to another four-year term in their respective offices, both running unopposed in Tuesday's primary.\n\nInitial results released at 8 p.m. by the Oregon Secretary of State's office showed Adams-Wannberg with 98.43% of the vote (41,640 votes) for auditor and Barton with 98.41% (45,145 votes) for district attorney. No other candidates filed for either seat. A total of 663 voters wrote in another name in the auditor's race, and 728 voters wrote in another name in the district attorney's race.\n\nAdams-Wannberg is the incumbent county auditor. The auditor's office conducts performance audits of county departments and reports findings to the Board of Commissioners.\n\nBarton is the incumbent district attorney; the office prosecutes felony and misdemeanor crimes in Washington County.\n\nBoth offices are nonpartisan and carry four-year terms.\n\nThe latest Washington County results, including the schedule for additional ballot drops, are posted on the Washington County Elections Division current results page.",
