NW Gales Creek Road has reopened to traffic; NW Stringtown Road remains closed.\n\nNews in the Grove will continue to follow the story and will update when an estimated reopening time is available.\n\nAs of press time, more than 50 Portland General Electric customers in the area remained without power.\n\n## Original story\n\nDeputies closed NW Gales Creek Road in both directions at NW Stringtown Road on Tuesday after a tree came down on the road, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.\n\nThe road would be closed for some time while crews worked to remove the tree, the Sheriff's Office said. Drivers were urged to use an alternate route.\n\nMore than 150 Portland General Electric customers were reported to have lost power, according to the utility company.",
