One day later, Republican candidates for governor squared off at a separate forum in Hillsboro. Six candidates for Washington County Commission District 4 — Steve Callaway, Kimberly Culbertson, Ayla Hofler, Anthony Martin, Paul Schaefer and Kipperlyn Sinclair — and three candidates for Washington County Chair — Nafisa Fai, Jenny Kamprath and Pam Treece — were invited, according to the organization’s original flyer.\n\nA third forum on Wednesday, April 29 at the same time and location is set to feature candidates for Metro Council District 4 (Miles Palacios and Alex Phan) and Metro Council President (Bruce Broussard, Chris Christensen, Philip Fensterer, Juan Carlos Gonzalez and Ken Ross), per the flyer.\n\nThis newspaper did not confirm if each candidate would attend.\n\n## Separate forum in Hillsboro on April 24\n\nA separate candidate forum for Washington County Commission Chair and District 4 candidates, hosted by the League of Women Voters and the Washington County Community Participation Organization (CPO) Program, is scheduled for Friday, April 24 at the Charles D. Cameron Public Services Building, 155 N. 1st Ave., in Hillsboro.
