Two injured in ATV crash in Hillside community

Two people were injured in an ATV crash in the Hillside community Monday afternoon, resulting in helicopter transport for one of the patients. According to Forest Grove Fire & Rescue spokesperson Matt Johnston, a minor and an adult were transported to a trauma hospital after an ATV crash on private property near Redtail Drive and Hillside Road in the Hillside community. The adult was transported via Life Flight Network helicopter with non-life threatening injuries, while the injured minor was also transported via ambulance to a trauma hospital. Hillside Road was briefly closed at Redtail Drive to allow the helicopter to land nearby. It was not immediately clear what type of ATV was involved.
