"textContent": "Alpacas, live music, drink and food tastings and specials will mark the ribbon cutting of Forage Grove, a new food hall and taproom launched by Pelagic Brewing and Comida KIN.\n\nAt a free event scheduled for Saturday, March 7 from noon to 9 p.m., visitors to the all-ages event will be able to taste wine, beer and cider from local producers, hear live music, see the Ale Trail Alpacas and sample food from Comida KIN and the Oregon Fish Company.\n\nForage Grove is a combined effort from Pelagic Brewing, a local brewery, and Comida KIN, a Pacific Northwest Mexican food truck. Other groups that have had a presence at the site that formerly housed Ridgewalker Brewing, including Franko’s Hot Dogs, Bull Run Cider and FG Amore, will round out the offerings.\n\n“We’re eager to welcome the Forest Grove community to Forage Grove,” said Rodrigo Huerta, chef and owner of Comida KIN and Forage Grove cofounder. “This project is about more than food and drink,” Huerta added in a press release. “It’s about creating a space where people can gather, discover local flavors, and feel at home.
