"textContent": "**RALEIGH, NC —** All Kinds, a new local craft shop with beer and wine, is targeting an opening in the next two to four weeks at 2116 New Bern Ave., Suite J, Raleigh, NC 27610, owner Carl Vick told Business Debut.\n\nVick is opening the business with his wife, Allison Vick. The space is located next to Little Blue Bakehouse, the bakery and cafe the couple opened in August 2022, Vick told Business Debut.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nAll Kinds will sell local crafts, including pottery and other artisan goods, with a smaller beer and wine component, Vick told Business Debut. The goal is to create a space where customers can shop local goods while having a glass of wine or beer.\n\n“We want to be all kinds,” Vick told Business Debut, describing the name as a reference to “all kinds of people, all kinds of pottery, all kinds of crafts.”\n\nThe business will not operate as a restaurant, though Vick said it may offer grab-and-go snacks such as peanuts or prepackaged charcuterie.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nAll Kinds will be more wine-focused, with beer also available, Vick told Business Debut. He described the concept as a late-afternoon or early-evening place to work, talk or shop, rather than a traditional bar.\n\nVick said the idea grew out of the couple’s work at Little Blue Bakehouse, where they often received requests from local makers who wanted to sell items in the cafe. The bakery could not fully accommodate those requests, so All Kinds became a natural extension of the couple’s existing business, he told Business Debut.\n\n## The Bakery Next Door\n\nLittle Blue Bakehouse operates as a cafe and commissary bakery next door to All Kinds, Vick told Business Debut. Allison Vick, an accomplished pastry chef, started with Little Blue Macaron before the couple opened the bakehouse in 2022.\n\nThe bakery includes individual production space for four other baking businesses, which stock their own display cases in the cafe, Vick told Business Debut. The bakehouse also offers coffee service and shares larger equipment, including ovens and a dishwasher, with the businesses using the commissary kitchen.\n\nVick said one of the operators using the space makes doughnuts, and he described the bakehouse as a way to help small food businesses grow without taking on the full cost of their own storefront.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nAll Kinds is targeting an opening in the next two to four weeks, Vick told Business Debut. He said equipment is in place, with remaining work focused on smaller items such as shelving and final permitting.\n\n## Hours\n\nAll Kinds is expected to operate around 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Vick told Business Debut.\n\nLittle Blue Bakehouse is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nWebsite and social media for All Kinds are to be announced.\n\n* * *\n\nDrive community buzz with Business DebutWe aim to create local buzz before you even open.Business Debut | New Business Openings in the SoutheastRoss McWaters",
