Two Daughters Bagels Bringing New York-Style Bagels to Largo

LARGO, FL — Two Daughters Bagels is targeting an August 2026 opening in the Largo Retail Shoppes plaza at 10593 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33771, owner Justin Miller told Business Debut.

The shop will open in a 2,100-square-foot former mobility store that is being converted into a restaurant space. Miller said the larger footprint gives the business room to grow after opening.

What to Expect

Two Daughters Bagels will focus on New York-style bagels made with old-world methods, Miller told Business Debut. He said the shop will make its bagels by hand each day without bagel-making machines.

Miller said the shop will use high-quality ingredients, cold fermentation, high-heat baking and a reverse osmosis water system engineered to replicate New York City water quality. The system is designed to match the alkalinity, total dissolved solids and mineral profile of New York City water, he told Business Debut.

The shop will offer about 15 bagel varieties daily, along with a rotating monthly specialty option. Planned flavors include plain, everything, sesame, poppy seed, garlic, onion, cinnamon raisin, blueberry, Asiago, jalapeno cheddar, pumpernickel, salt, black seeded matcha and birthday cake.

Menu and Vision

Miller said the menu will begin with bagels, cream cheese, baked goods and a lox menu featuring traditional Nova lox, old-school belly lox and Alaskan wild sockeye lox. His personal favorites are an everything bagel with plain cream cheese and the belly lox.

Coffee will also be a major part of the business. Two Daughters Bagels has partnered with Tampa-based Buddy Brew Coffee for beans and equipment, Miller told Business Debut. The shop plans to serve espresso, lattes, drip coffee, ceremonial-grade matcha and teas, with beans roasted locally and shipped to the shop within 24 hours, Miller said.

Miller said the beverage program will use custom-made Italian espresso equipment rather than automated machines. Drinks will be prepared by trained baristas, with a lineup of 12 house-designed specialty beverages that he described as “curated cups of happiness.”

Miller named the business for his daughters, Emmy, 12, and Hallie, 10. He said he wants them to see him chase a dream and understand “they actually have a say in what their life looks like.” Miller also said Coelum Construction has helped guide the build-out process.
