"textContent": "**WINTER PARK, FL —** Fresh Kitchen, the Florida-based build-your-own bowl concept founded by the Lanza family, James Lanza and his sons, Matt and Steve, is targeting a late 2026 opening for its 18th location at 818 S. Orlando Ave., Winter Park, FL 32789.\n\nThe restaurant, part of Ciccio Restaurant Group, will be overseen locally by Regional Partner Jordan Fowler, who oversees the brand’s five Orlando-area locations, CEO Tyler Azzarelli told Business Debut.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nFresh Kitchen is a fast-casual, build-your-own bowl concept centered on scratch-made roasted vegetables, grilled proteins, bases, sauces and add-ons. The Winter Park restaurant will have about 35 seats inside and 25 to 30 seats outside, Azzarelli told Business Debut.\n\nGuests will move through a line and choose from bases, vegetables, proteins and sauces to build a three-, four- or six-part bowl. “Depending on how you feel like eating, whatever you’re in the mood for, you can really make a bowl that matches,” Azzarelli told Business Debut.\n\nThe Winter Park restaurant will also feature Fresh Kitchen’s updated logo, colors and brand design. Azzarelli said guests can expect more elevated finishes, depth and texture in a space designed to showcase the food.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nThe menu includes bases such as kale Caesar and brown rice, vegetables including broccoli and green beans, and proteins such as grilled chicken, steak, salmon and baked almond tenders. Azzarelli pointed to the sweet potato noodles as a fan favorite and also highlighted the creamy white ginger sauce and coconut sriracha, both made from scratch in house.\n\nImages from Fresh Kitchen on Instagram\n\nFresh Kitchen’s proteins are hormone- and antibiotic-free, and the brand does not use seed oils, gluten or added sugar in its recipes, Azzarelli told Business Debut. “It is full-service, high-quality food and ingredients in a fast environment,” he said.\n\nFresh Kitchen opened its first location in 2014 on Howard Avenue in Tampa and has grown slowly across Florida while maintaining the standards set by the Lanza family, Azzarelli told Business Debut.\n\nAzzarelli said Fresh Kitchen’s mission is “food that’s good for people and a company that’s good to people.” He also shared that the brand composts food waste and diverted more than 1 million pounds from landfills into compost last year.\n\nThe company’s current goal is to grow Fresh Kitchen to 100 restaurants, Azzarelli told Business Debut. The brand is actively looking across Florida and plans additional openings in 2026 and 2027 before considering markets outside the state.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nThe team is targeting a late 2026 opening in Winter Park.\n\n## Employment\n\nFresh Kitchen is hiring hourly team members and restaurant managers as the brand continues to grow. Azzarelli said the company is looking for people with a commitment to quality who want to work in a culture focused on growth opportunities and excellence.\n\n## Hours\n\nFresh Kitchen will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9:35 p.m.\n\n## Follow for More\n\n\nFollow Fresh Kitchen on its website and Instagram.\n\n* * *\n\nDrive community buzz with Business DebutWe aim to create local buzz before you even open.Business Debut | New Business Openings in the SoutheastRoss McWaters",
