"textContent": "**MINNEOLA, FL —** Crooked Can Brewing Company is planning a destination brewery and venue for its fourth location at 1600 Crooked Can Loop, Minneola, FL 34715, with a targeted late June opening, owner Andy Sheeter told Business Debut. The team is hoping to open during the third week of June, though the date remains a moving target, Sheeter told Business Debut.\n\nThe new brewery and venue will open inside Hill City Center, a new mixed-use development that will include residential, retail, hotel and medical office space, Sheeter told Business Debut. Crooked Can is the first tenant going into the development, aside from the AdventHealth hospital that opened nearby, he said.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nCrooked Can’s Minneola brewery will be significantly larger than its existing locations, with 42,500 square feet of space, Sheeter told Business Debut. About half of the building will be dedicated to brewing, while the other half will be an expansive taproom.\n\nSheeter described the project as a destination brewery and said it will be one of a kind in Florida. The space will include three main bars inside, two levels, an upstairs mezzanine overlooking the first floor, a large projection TV and indoor-outdoor service areas, he told Business Debut.\n\nThe brewery will sit on three acres, including about two acres of lawn space and beer garden area, Sheeter told Business Debut. Plans include a kids splash pad, kids play area, concerts and regular live music.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nThe Minneola location will feature 11 different food vendors, offering options such as pizza, barbecue and sushi, Sheeter told Business Debut. The vendors will be privately operated within the space.\n\nCrooked Can’s beer lineup will include its core beers and seasonal releases. Sheeter said Florida Sunshine, a Helles-style lager, is the top seller in the taproom, while High Stepper IPA is the brewery’s largest seller in distribution.\n\nThe new facility will also support larger-scale production for Crooked Can’s distribution partners and clients, including Universal, Disney, Kia Center and a specialty beer for the Orlando Magic, Sheeter told Business Debut.\n\nTodd Glass, Crooked Can’s award-winning brewmaster, helps develop the brewery’s recipes, Sheeter told Business Debut.\n\nThe Minneola brewery will be Crooked Can’s fourth location. The original location opened in Winter Garden, Florida, in 2015, followed by Hilliard, Ohio, in early 2020 and Snellville, Georgia, in December, Sheeter told Business Debut.\n\nSheeter said Alan Delahunt is the managing partner overseeing Minneola, Winter Garden and Snellville. Developer Kevin Skorman has also been instrumental in the project, and Sheeter shared special thanks to the City of Minneola for its partnership.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nThe team is targeting a late June opening, with hopes of opening during the third week of June, Sheeter told Business Debut.\n\n## Hours\n\nCrooked Can Brewing Company plans to open seven days a week from 11 a.m. — 11 p.m., Sheeter told Business Debut. The team may extend hours until midnight on Friday and Saturday.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nVisit Crooked Can Brewing Company's Website, Instagram, and Facebook.\n\n* * *\n\nDrive community buzz with Business DebutWe aim to create local buzz before you even open.Business Debut | New Business Openings in the SoutheastRoss McWaters",
