"textContent": "HIRAM, GA – A new shawarma spot is opening soon in Hiram. Shawarma Queen is transitioning from a food truck into a brick and mortar at: 5157 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy #101, Hiram, GA 30141, owner Mohamed Abdelmegeed told Business Debut.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nFollowing the success of his halal food truck in Dallas, GA, Abdelmegeed decided to invest in opening a permanent restaurant. His biggest reason for the transition is to offer families and groups a place to relax and dine, regardless of the weather.\n\nExpect a comfortable, casual place to enjoy dishes such as shawarma, falafel, kebab, stuffed Egyptian pie and more.\n\n## Ownership Background\n\nAbdelmegeed owns a law practice in his native country of Egypt, he shared. Here in the United States, he attempted to earn a law degree from Georgia State University; however, having recently begun to learn English made it extremely difficult.\n\nTo support his family, he invested $7000 into a food cart. Then, he opened a food truck, and now he is opening a brick and mortar. He shared that he hopes his story will inspire other immigrants to the USA to start and build their own businesses here in the United States.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nAbdelmegeed anticipates opening toward the end of May if progress continues on schedule. They are currently under construction.\n\nOnce they open, they will serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nFollow Shawarma Queen on Facebook and Instagram.\n\n* * *\n\nDrive community buzz with Business DebutWe aim to create local buzz before you even open.Business Debut | New Business Openings in the SoutheastRoss McWaters",
