"textContent": "FARMVILLE, NC — Yard Dog Brewing Company, a new concept from parent company WrenBev, is preparing to open at 3883 South Main Street, Farmville, NC 27828.\n\nGeneral Manager Drew Cheshire told Business Debut the brewery will operate as its own standalone brand while remaining part of WrenBev’s growing portfolio.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nYard Dog Brewing Company will center on a small taproom experience with an indoor occupancy of around 49 guests, complemented by a large outdoor space featuring picnic tables, yard games, and a designated dog park area. Cheshire told Business Debut the concept leans into a dog-friendly environment with a strong outdoor focus.\n\nThe brewery will operate six days a week, closing on Mondays for brewing, cleaning, and staff operations, Cheshire told Business Debut. The beverage program will include beer, wine, and a limited liquor menu. Guests will be able to bring in food or enjoy rotating food trucks and local vendors.\n\nThe brewing approach at Yard Dog will emphasize a simplified, European-inspired model.\n\nCheshire told Business Debut the initial lineup will feature three core beers brewed in-house: a lighter lager, a dark lager, and a German-style wheat beer.\n\nIn addition to its own beers, Yard Dog will rotate selections from sister concepts under WrenBev, including IPAs and sours from other locations. The taproom is expected to have eight taps total, with a mix of in-house and shared offerings.\n\n## Wren Song Tavern\n\nWrenBev is also preparing to open Wren Song Tavern at 117 E 2nd Street, Siler City, N.C. 27344, which will follow a similar taproom model without on-site brewing, Cheshire told Business Debut.\n\nWren Song Tavern will primarily feature beers from Yard Dog and WrenBev's other breweries, including Uptown Brewing Company and Local Oak Brewing Company.\n\n## Hours\n\nYard Dog Brewing Company plans to operate six days a week, with Mondays reserved for internal operations. Daily hours are to be announced.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nVisit their Website for updates.",
