"textContent": "**JACKSONVILLE, FL —** Black Berry's Creamery & Cafe is targeting a June 15 opening at 5615 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, where co-owners Raymond Paulk and Lynn Little are developing an ice cream-focused concept alongside a food truck park, Paulk told Business Debut.\n\nBusiness Debut learned of this story first from What Now.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nThe concept centers on an ice cream trailer that will be the anchor of a larger outdoor space designed for multiple food truck vendors. Paulk told Business Debut the property will function primarily as a food truck park, with Black Berry's Creamery & Cafe serving as the main dessert destination.\n\nThe lot, which previously housed a Rally’s hamburger restaurant more than 20 years ago, has undergone significant redevelopment. Paulk shared with Business Debut that the team has reworked the space to include seating areas, a pergola, and a relaxed environment for guests to gather.\n\nRaymond Paulk specifically described the space as a relaxed, outdoor environment and said they want it to feel like “a nice little place to take somebody out on a first date,” he told Business Debut.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nBlack Berry's Creamery & Cafe will start with a wide range of ice cream flavors, with plans to introduce house-made ice cream within the first six months. Paulk told Business Debut the menu will include options such as butter pecan bourbon, blackberry bliss, cookies and cream, cotton candy swirl, and rum raisin.\n\n“We’re going to be making our own ice cream,” Paulk told Business Debut, noting future plans for alcohol-infused flavors.\n\nIn addition to ice cream, the concept will offer milkshakes, shaved ice, and a lineup of fresh-squeezed lemonades, including classic, strawberry, mango, peach, raspberry, lavender, and blackberry, along with Arnold Palmer-style options.\n\nGuests will also be able to customize their treats with mix-ins such as cereals like Cap’n Crunch and Frosted Flakes, along with fruit additions including bananas, blueberries, and strawberries.\n\nThe cafe portion may include light food items in the future, Paulk said the focus will remain simple, with other food truck vendors providing a broader range of options for foodies to enjoy.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nThe team is targeting a June 15 opening, with the possibility of opening sooner if construction progress allows, Paulk told Business Debut.\n\n## Hours\n\nThe ice cream trailer is expected to operate until around 10 p.m. daily, while the food truck park itself may allow vendors to operate up to 24 hours depending on participation, Paulk told Business Debut.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nA Website and Social Media are coming soon.\n\n* * *\n\nDrive community buzz with Business DebutWe aim to create local buzz before you even open.Business Debut | New Business Openings in the SoutheastRoss McWaters",
