"textContent": "PINEVILLE, NC — Taste of Bengal is preparing to open at 10610 Centrum Pkwy Suite L, Pineville, NC 28134, where owner Sabyasachi Patra said the business will introduce a Bengali-focused concept that blends takeout food, catering, frozen goods and a halal butcher counter.\n\nPatra told Business Debut the team has a goal to open within about one to one-and-a-half months, pending remaining buildout progress.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nPatra said Taste of Bengal will focus primarily on takeout with limited seating. In addition to prepared food, the Pineville location will include a butcher section with frozen fish, meat, and chicken, along with frozen items, sweets and savory snacks for grab-and-go purchases.\n\nPatra told Business Debut the store will also offer combo meals built around rice, biryani and curry-style dishes, plus catering. He said the concept is designed to serve both customers looking for prepared meals and shoppers looking for specialty ingredients and proteins used in Bengali cooking.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nPatra said the restaurant will specialize in Bengali cuisine, which he described as distinct from the Indian food many diners may already know. He told Business Debut the menu will reflect Bengali flavors with Indian and Bangladeshi influences, with food that is “more aromatic rather than spicier.”\n\nPatra said the menu will also reflect British influence tied to the culinary traditions of Kolkata and the broader Bengali region. He told Business Debut customers can expect items such as cutlets, sweets, savory snacks, rice dishes and biryani, all built around a style of food that remains relatively uncommon in the Carolinas.\n\nTaste of Bengal already operates another location in the King of Prussia area of Pennsylvania, which Patra said has been open for about two years.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nPatra told Business Debut the Pineville location is targeting an opening in about one to one-and-a-half months. He said plumbing work is in progress, with inspection expected next.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nWebsite: Taste of Bengal\n\nFollow on Facebook\n\n* * *\n\nDrive community buzz with Business DebutWe aim to create local buzz before you even open.Business Debut | New Business Openings in the SoutheastRoss McWaters",
