"textContent": "**MIAMI, FL** — Kush Wynwood, owned by Matthew Kuscher and his wife Priscilla Kuscher, is targeting a return this summer at 2003 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33127 following a two-year closure due to extensive building renovations. Kuscher told Business Debut the restaurant is aiming for a June or July reopening after structural work on the nearly 100-year-old building.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nKush Wynwood will return as a full-service restaurant with approximately 40 seats indoors along with additional outdoor seating. The concept focuses on a casual, laid-back environment paired with high-level hospitality.\n\nThe restaurant will feature a full liquor license with an emphasis on local beer, while maintaining a hands-on service approach. “Even though it's a very casual laid back environment, we like to put our service up there with the most fine dining restaurants,” Kuscher told Business Debut.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nKush Wynwood is centered on what Kuscher describes as an authentic representation of Miami. “Cush is basically Miami in your face… from the decor to the menu to the staff,” he told Business Debut.\n\nThe menu will highlight burgers, sandwiches, and salads, with a focus on scratch-made items including house-made sauces and ground-in-house burgers. The reopening will also bring together popular items from Kuscher’s other concepts, including Baja fish tacos and a globally recognized sandwich from his deli.\n\nWhenever possible, the restaurant will source ingredients locally across Florida.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nThe team is targeting a summer reopening, with June or July as the current goal.\n\n## Hours\n\nPlanned hours are 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. during the week, with extended hours until 12 a.m. or 1 a.m. on weekends.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nVisit their Instagram at Kush Hospitality.\n\n* * *\n\n### Opening a business?\n\nLearn how we distribute press releases to local readers daily at no cost!\n\nDrive community buzz with Business DebutWe aim to create local buzz before you even open.Business Debut | New Business Openings in the SoutheastRoss McWaters",
