"textContent": "**MIDDLEBURG, FL** - Sistas Place, a new southern soul food bistro from Nikki Lawson, is targeting a Memorial Day weekend opening at 2475 Blanding Blvd Unit 6, Middleburg, FL 32068. Lawson told Business Debut the concept will combine comfort food, indoor dining, and event hosting under one roof.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nSistas Place will operate as a fast casual restaurant with indoor seating for about 40 guests, with capacity to accommodate up to 55. The space will also function as a private venue, allowing guests to reserve the entire restaurant for events such as baby showers, bridal teas, and birthday dinners with a four-hour block.\n\nLawson said the restaurant will also offer full-service catering for those events, both onsite and for hosted gatherings.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nThe menu will focus on southern comfort food inspired by Lawson’s Alabama roots. “Sistas Place is a southern soul food bistro born and raised in Alabama, so bringing a lot of good southern food cuisine here to the Middleburg area,” Lawson told Business Debut.\n\nA featured item is the “soul food potato,” a large baked potato topped with proteins like chicken or steak, along with mac and cheese and collard greens. “That is one of our featured items… that’s the reaction that I want,” she told Business Debut.\n\nThe menu will also include fried chicken, candied yams, collard greens, green beans, fried fish, turkey, honey ham, and soups like camp stew. Lawson said the goal is to offer the kind of meals typically reserved for holidays year-round.\n\nBeer, wine, and champagne will be available.
