"textContent": "**CAPE CORAL, FL** — Coffee Rush is preparing to open its second Florida location at 1189 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, FL 33991, targeting a late May or early June opening, owner Tessa Yost told Business Debut. The drive-thru coffee concept originated in Oregon and is now expanding across Southwest Florida as the brand grows beyond its Pacific Northwest roots.\n\nThis Cape Coral shop will follow the brand’s first Florida location, which opened in November at 9670 SR 82 in Fort Myers.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nCoffee Rush operates as a drive-thru focused coffee concept with a design built for speed and convenience. Each location features two drive-thru lanes where staff take orders in person, allowing customers to order and pick up from either side of the building.\n\nThe concept also includes walk-up windows for neighborhood foot traffic, along with a small outdoor seating area that can accommodate about four to five guests. The goal is to combine convenience with a more personal service style.\n\n“We take your order in line in person, so we really try to have a good connection with our customers,” Yost told Business Debut.\n\nPictures courtesy of Coffee Rush\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nCoffee Rush was founded in 1992 by Ron and Lisa Yost in Oregon, long before drive-thru coffee became common. The company has since grown to eight locations in the Portland metropolitan area.\n\nThe menu focuses on customizable coffee drinks made with premium ingredients, including Ghirardelli chocolate powders and caramel. White chocolate mochas and caramel drinks rank among the most popular options.\n\nCustomers can also expect breakfast items such as bacon, egg and cheese or sausage breakfast sandwiches, along with baked goods sourced from regional partners including Punta Gorda’s Nino’s Bakery.\n\nYost, who grew up working in the family business, moved to Florida three years ago to help lead the company’s expansion. “We saw a really good market opportunity here, especially for drive-thru coffee,” she told Business Debut.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nThe Cape Coral shop is targeting a late May or early June opening. It will mark the brand’s second Florida location and part of a broader regional growth plan.\n\nThe company plans to open six to seven additional locations across Florida over the next year as it continues to build its presence in the state.\n\n## Hours\n\n * Monday - Friday: 5 a.m. – 8 p.m.\n * Saturday: 5:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.\n * Sunday: 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.\n\n\n\n## Follow for More\n\nVisit their Website and Instagram.\n\n* * *\n\n Are you a restaurant vendor?
