"textContent": "**CAPE CORAL, FL -** The Dominican Experience is targeting an April 11 opening at 122 Chiquita Blvd. S, Unit 3, Cape Coral, FL 33991. Owner Arthur Sanchez told Business Debut the restaurant plans to open at 6 a.m. and will bring authentic Dominican cuisine to the Cape Coral community.\n\nThe family-owned restaurant will operate in a fast-casual format with dine-in and takeout service. Sanchez said the concept focuses on traditional Dominican dishes made with fresh ingredients in a welcoming, family-oriented setting.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nGuests will move through a service line where they can see the food and choose their options before taking their plates to the dining room. The restaurant will have about 24 seats inside.\n\nThe Dominican Experience will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, with breakfast beginning at 6 a.m. Sanchez said breakfast offerings will include eggs, coffee, toast and traditional Dominican items such as mangú, or mashed green plantains, along with salami, queso frito and breakfast sandwiches.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nSanchez said one of the restaurant’s signature strengths will be its rice and beans made with natural herbs and ingredients. “Every herb that’s in there, it’s natural,” Sanchez told Business Debut.\n\nHe also highlighted pollo guisado along with mofongo served with options such as shrimp, onions and garlic. Sanchez said he moved to Cape Coral from Miami about five years ago and wanted to introduce flavors he felt were missing in the area. “I’m happy to bring that to the community,” he told Business Debut.\n\nChef Arlene Ovalles will lead the kitchen and help execute the restaurant’s traditional Dominican menu.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nThe Dominican Experience is targeting an April 11 opening.\n\n## Hours\n\nPlanned hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nFollow on Instagram.\n\n* * *\n\n Are you a restaurant vendor?
