"textContent": "**ATLANTA, GA** - Khao Thai Isan, a new Thai restaurant and bar concept focused on Isan cuisine, is targeting an April opening at 250 M.L.K. Jr Dr SW a, Atlanta, GA 30303, co-owner Pok Aiemprig told Business Debut.\n\nAiemprig is opening the concept with partners Niki and Tanya Pattharakositkul (the sisters behind Pink Lotus and 26 Thai Kitchen & Bar) and Kritnapat Satienpattanakul.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nAiemprig described Khao Thai Isan as a full-service, casual restaurant with a sports bar feel near Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The roughly 4,700-square-foot space is planned for about 190 seats across indoor dining and a patio, with a setup intended for guests to gather for food and drinks before events and to hang out in the neighborhood.\n\nThe restaurant is also expected to include a private room aimed at business diners and hotel guests who may want a space for meetings, Aiemprig told Business Debut.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nThe concept is centered on Isan, the northeastern region of Thailand, with an Isan-forward menu that Aiemprig said differs from more familiar Thai offerings. The team plans a more shareable, tapas-style approach.\n\nThe drink program is expected to emphasize local beer along with Thai-inspired cocktails using ingredients common in Thai cooking, including tamarind and coconut, he told Business Debut.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nThe team does not have an exact opening date but is planning to open in April, Aiemprig told Business Debut, with construction already underway and design work completed.\n\n## Hours\n\nKhao Thai Isan is planning to open seven days a week. The team is considering hours around noon–10 p.m. on weekdays and noon–11 p.m. on weekends, with the possibility of opening earlier, Aiemprig told Business Debut.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nFollow on Instagram.
