"textContent": "**GAINESVILLE, GA —** Atlas Pizza is expanding with a second location at 3320 Thompson Bridge Rd, Suite B, Gainesville, GA 30506, owner Vic Jordan told Business Debut.\n\nJordan is opening the new spot with partners Michael Parks and Cori Salter, who is the current general manager at the original Atlas Pizza.\n\nBusiness Debut first saw the news from the Gainesville Times.\n\n## What to Expect\n\nThe new location will be smaller and designed for more pickup and delivery than dine-in service. Jordan said the space will have about nine to 10 tables and seating for around 35 people, with delivery expected to make up a larger share of the business. The restaurant is taking over a space previously occupied by Little Italy’s.\n\n## Menu and Vision\n\nAtlas Pizza opened its original location on Oct. 1, 2007, Jordan told Business Debut. He said the business has grown largely through word of mouth, which helped the team scale at a pace they could support.\n\nJordan attributed the restaurant’s longevity to consistency and straightforward standards around quality and service. “Trying to keep the product consistent,” Jordan said, adding, “This is how we would want a pizza made.” He also pointed to not skimping on toppings and maintaining good service as core priorities.\n\nAt the new location, the menu will be more limited than the original. Jordan said the team will not offer subs or wraps there, focusing instead on pizza, salads and appetizers such as wings, breadsticks and cheese bread.\n\n## Opening Timeline\n\nAtlas Pizza is in the remodeling phase and is targeting an opening in “a couple of weeks,” Jordan told Business Debut. Work includes new flooring, painting and bathroom updates.\n\nBeer and wine are planned, though Jordan said it may not be available right at opening because the application process must wait until inspections are complete.\n\n## Follow for More\n\nVisit the Atlas Pizza website.\nFollow Atlas Pizza on Facebook.\n\n* * *\n\n Are you a restaurant vendor?
