New international research shows vivid mental images experienced by pregnant women when they think about vaccination directly influence their decision about whether or not to get vaccinated. Led by researchers from The University of Western Australia and the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom, the study is the first to investigate the prevalence of vaccination-related mental imagery during pregnancy and link it to both vaccine hesitancy and vaccination behavior.
