Obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obstructive sleep apnea, and hypothyroidism are independent metabolic risk factors (MRF) for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), according to a study recently published in the Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology.
