Experimental drug offers new hope for celiac disease treatment

An experimental drug may in future provide a new form of protection for people with celiac disease. According to an international study led by the Universities of Oulu and Tampere, the drug dampens the harmful effects of gluten not only in the gut but also widely across the whole body.
