"textContent": "Colorectal cancer, a type of cancer that affects the colon or rectum, is the second leading cause of cancer-related death and the third most common cause of death or type of cancer. It is the No. 1 cause of cancer-related death for men and women under 50. Roughly one in 24 people will develop colorectal cancer. Though declining in older adults due to screening, cases are rising by nearly 3% per year in adults under 50. While often asymptomatic in early stages, it is highly preventable through screening and highly treatable if detected early.",
