Same-day hospital discharge found to be safe for select patients after transcatheter aortic valve implantation

With careful selection, same-day hospital discharge was found to be feasible and safe in around one-fifth of patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation in a study presented at the EAPCI Summit 2026. The summit is a new event organized by the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), an association of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
