People and Blogs are chill

I’ve been refining my content diet recently to include more personal blogs. Just people living their lives and posting about it on their own corner of the internet. One of them mentioned being featured on People and Blogs, and a few clicks later I found something beautiful: a collection of interviews of people who blog. This weekly series is maintained by Manuel “Manu” Moreale. A chill dude on his own, but this project elevates him to super chill status imo. Every interview includes the subject’s “why and how” behind their blog. Everything from the origin story to the tech stack to the finances (spoiler alert on the last one, most people don’t monetize and blog for the love of the game). And at the end of each interview, the subject shares their recomendations of people to follow. From this one series, there’s plenty of corners to find! What makes this chill, you might be asking? Well,like I said in the intro, I’m finding it good for my soul to follow these types of people. I still have social media to engage with my friends and the masses, but so much of that activity is performative and monotone. People and Blogs has helped me discover people who share their humanity, many of whom I hope to feature on Something Chill. If you're looking for the same thing I am, check out People and Blogs.
